About Lester Morse

Lester, a recovery coach and neurolinguistic programmer, has dedicated over 30 years to supporting individuals and their families affected by addiction. In recovery himself, he has built an extensive career working across a wide range of outreach and treatment settings, earning a reputation for his straight-talking approach that combines both compassionate support and practical, long-term solutions.

He began his career in Watford with a homeless charity, where he spent countless nights in the streets delivering outreach and frontline support to vulnerable individuals. With hands-on experience of working with people who face complex challenges, he went onto manage both a wet house and night shelter before moving onto a nine-year period of managing three successful clean and sober living houses. During this time, he also supported those struggling with addiction within the criminal justice system, further broadening his expertise and understanding of the variety of challenges people face when trying to become clean and sober. 

In 2008, Lester became a director and set up East Coast Recovery, a 45-bed residential rehab facility focussed on treating addiction and supporting self-development. His highly effective treatment programme “Altered Attitudes” has helped and continues to help thousands of people and their families recover from substance misuse. 

In May 2023, East Coast Recovery’s residential doors closed. This led Lester to create Rehabs UK, an independent triage referral service that connects families to reputable and trusted addiction treatment services. Continuing with his leadership work and remaining a strong advocate for recovery, Lester has delivered hundreds of community workshops, recovery courses while also staying committed to mentoring his team and coaching individuals through their journey.
