About Scott Ardley

Scott joined East Coast Recovery in 2021 as a Treatment Advisor where he was responsible for undertaking assessments, coordinating admissions into the facility, and supporting clients and their families throughout their stay and beyond. With a personal lived experience of addiction and as a recovery coach, Scott has a wealth of understanding from professional and personal perspectives. Having previously worked in a variety of customer-focussed roles including supporting people to stop smoking and reducing harm, to handling complaints, he has always been passionate about navigating people through emotionally challenging situations while ensuring they feel continuously supported. 

Through his unwavering commitment to clients and their families, Scott was soon promoted to Senior Treatment Advisor at East Coast Recovery and Rehabs UK. A previous business owner of 11 years, Scott has transferrable skills that reinforce his role in developing and maintaining relationships with trusted partners, as well as supporting the build of robust treatment plans to withstand complex cases. 

A dedicated recovery advocate with a strong passion about community, Scott is also a school governor, supporting the wellbeing of students and their families. He has also been featured in numerous news publications raising awareness of addiction and as a trusted source of information.
