An exciting move for the recovery community, Rehabs UK has now built a new partnership with Harmony House, a sober living guest house located in Lowestoft, Suffolk. This collaboration marks a significant step forward in continuing the work within the field of addiction in the buildings previously part of East Coast Recovery (now Rehabs UK), ensuring that the vital work of supporting individuals in their journey towards sobriety carries on with renewed vigour.

Ricky, the driving force behind Harmony House, brings a deeply personal connection to the mission. Having walked the path of recovery himself, Ricky understands first-hand the challenges and triumphs that come with overcoming addiction. His own journey began with East Coast Recovery, now Rehabs UK, where he found the support and guidance needed to reclaim his life. Now, he is committed to paying it forward by providing a nurturing environment for others seeking to embark on their own recovery journey.

He states: ". To add to this awesome and unique synchronism of events is how our very own co - founder Geoff Ward once owned the Albany next door which was a guest house about 18 years ago. Now being equipped with the necessary skills and character that is dedicated to this work, having an up front and personal career in leadership and management, running HMO adult specialist sober living properties which has helped develop a robust set of crucial interpersonal skills that we use in our daily work, we felt we wanted to further outreach and be able to offer affordable and cost effective support for those who need ongoing support care from detox stages."

The partnership between Rehabs UK and Harmony House has sparked excitement throughout the community, with many eager to see the positive impact it will have on those in need. Lester Morse, Director of Rehabs UK, expressed his enthusiasm for the collaboration, highlighting the importance of continuing the work initiated by East Coast Recovery.

"I am so glad that Fairways, now named Harmony House, is still being used by the Adam Outreach Project to give sanctuary to people suffering from addiction!" Morse exclaimed. "Over the years, hundreds of people found rest and retreat from the torment of addiction and mental health problems. The building has a lovely homely, safe, and welcoming feeling that you notice as soon as you walk through the front door. And I am sure the Adam Outreach staff will continue to offer the amazing first-class care and support that East Coast Recovery did."

The union between Rehabs UK and Harmony House signifies a commitment to providing holistic care and support to individuals on their journey to recovery. By combining resources and expertise, they aim to create a seamless continuum of care that addresses the diverse needs of those seeking assistance.

We all look forward to what the future holds!
